Most of us recognize the terms Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). Yet, few of us really understand what it is like to live with ADD and ADHD. Many think that being labeled with these terms is a shortfall, but in reality it is an asset to learners. Todd and Liz met at Nipissing University's Teacher College. They are both in education, Todd as a Principal and Liz as a Special Education Specialist. They have two children, Kathryn and Jessica. Todd Gribbon was diagnosed with ADD at the age of 27 after graduating from Ryerson University; Kathryn Gribbon was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 7 and has recently been accepted to Nipissing University. Todd and Kathryn along with Liz and Jessica Gribbon will discuss their struggles and successes with living with ADD and ADHD. Cost is $3 and tickets can be purchased at the Adult Desk.
