DCNB Stop Motion Animation Workshop

The North Bay Public Library is excited to once again partner with Digital Creator North Bay for a stop motion workshop on Saturday March 23rd from 1:00 - 3:00PM!

If you're looking for a fun and creative way to spend your weekend, look no further than Digital Creator North Bay’s Stop Motion Workshop!

This free event is open to ages 11-17, and will teach you everything you need to know to start creating digital stop motion videos. Not only is this a great opportunity to learn this fun and creative form of animation, but it's also a great way to make new friends with other fellow young creatives. We will provide all the necessary equipment, so all you need to bring is your creativity! Register now and we'll see you at the workshop in the Mezzanine Room!

"Journey North": an evening with John Dunn

Join us for an evening with veteran adventurer John Dunn, who will present stories, images, and video from his 8000km, 400 day series of wilderness expeditions between Tofino and the northern tip of Canada

Ages 12 and up
Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at the adult desk.

NBPL's Moose-t Reads Online Book Club

Welcome to North Bay Public Library's Moose-t Reads Book Club!
Each month, staff will post a list of books to choose from: feel free to discuss, post about, or review the book(s) you pick! You can even post things that are inspired by the theme of the month, or the book you are reading.
